Recipe: Wholegrain Herb Bread

On Wednesday last week a burst of inspiration hit me while I was baking bread. I thought to myself why don't I try adding seasonings to the bread and make a batch of what I'll call herb bread in addition to the regular bread. I did and it came out okay. This picture is a close up of the bread before it went into the oven.

Wholegrain Herb Bread

8 cups wholegrain flour
2 1/2 cups very warm salted water
2 tbsp yeast
3/4 cup olive oil
seasoning peppers
onions(grated)
garlic(grated)
celery(chopped)
parsley(chopped)

Method
Chop/grate seasonings and set aside. Mix dry ingredients together. Add herbs and seasonings and mix again. Add oil and water. Mix, then knead and form into desired shapes for bread loaves. Let rise in warm oven for about 15 minutes to 1/2 hour. Bake at 400 degrees until done. Enjoy.

I form my loaves by hand and I'm not an expert so don't worry about the shapes. LOL!
