ReplyDeleteIt looks like you had a blast at the service. I have a question for you! I was raised Seventh Day Adventist - and you may or may not know they're BIG on vegetarianism. Do you guys at your church have any food restrictions or suggestions? Some religions do, some don't.
And that family of yours is just as gorgeous as you are! You all look so happy! Are your boys twins?
I so enjoyed hearing all about your Pastor appreciation day in the village. We have some friends from Kenya. Where are you from? We've been to their local church celebrations and WOW! They know how to celebrate! It sounds like your village knows how to celebrate too! :)

ReplyDeleteThanks for the compliments. I love red! My wedding was a red and white theme. Oh yes, I had a blast! October was our vacation month so it was good being back with them after being away for the month.
My hubby and I and a nurse in our congregation attempt to educate the congregation about the health benefits of adding more vegetables, eating less meat, sugars, etc but our church/denomination does not have any restrictions on eating.
Our boys are not twins but they do have the same birth date. The younger one was born on his brother's birthday the following year. So they're growing up like twins but they are one year apart.

ReplyDeleteWe are from an island in the Caribbean called Dominica(not the Dominican Republic). We are called the Nature Isle of the Caribbean. And we definitely know how to rejoice in the Lord! I personally love to dance and shout, clap and praise God loud. There are reflective times too but we are definitely not a subdued congregation. lol
That was a joy to watch Jennifer! You look so beautiful, and I could feel the love coming right out of the screen! Thanks so much for sharing your day with us. :)
