Father's Day was a hit! We did not do anything spectacular during the morning service but the Ladies Ministry planned a mashup time in the afternoon. We asked the fathers to report back to the church building dressed casually at 2:30pm. We did not tell them where we were taking them. The wives being privy to where knew that they had to secretly pack change of clothes and bathing stuff. We took them to my favorite spot - Screw's Spa! Woohoo!

Our Senior pastor(on the right) and another brother:

The fathers:
Some of the ladies:
Those of us with young children brought them along of course:
The older men were hilarious. They had excercise class in the water:
They decided to pose for the camer showing off their muscles. My father in law was a bodybuilder in his youth. He is the one on the extreme right demonstrating body builder poses:
Those men had everybody cracking up:A great time was had by all. We made and brought our own snacks - cheese sandwiches, tuna sandwiches, pineapple juice, passionfruit juice and delicious yogurt(made by one of our very own ladies). The men said that they all had a grand time! One of the best parts was when the Senior Pastor told one of the young ladies that we should have told him where we were going because if he had known then he would have walked prepared. Unbeknownst to him his daughter already had his stuff. He was pleasantly surprised to say the least. Thank you Lord for the opportunity to bless our fathers this way.
