One of my favorite blogs

A few days ago when I woke up I felt so strongly impressed in my spirit to tackle the mountain of ironing I put all else aside and tackled it. Needless to say I ironed over 100pcs of clothes. I am about 3/4 way there. Whoopee!! Anyway during my breaks I also felt strongly impressed to spend time on a blog that I read for homekeeping inspiration. It is called Home Living. It is on my sidebar under blogs I read. Well! I kept reading and reading and reading article upon article being greatly blessed and encouraged in my walk as a keeper at home but I was especially affected by THIS POST. This post was written by Lady Lydia since January 2005 and God used it to minister to me in such a profound way. The post articulates what I try to say to those whom the Lord brings my way to speak to regarding their desire to stay home and be a keeper at home but find no way(according to them) that they can do it. While reading the Lord so strongly moved on my heart and showed me part of my ministry here to women on this island: to call them back home in order rescue the perishing young ones and stem the tide of decay that is so rampant in homes. Lady Lydia is very strong in her beliefs that a woman should be a keeper at home and I gain strength and encouragement as well as inspiration and instruction in my journey as a keeper at home. I will not and do not look with disdain at others who are not keepers at home because each person has to live as they believe God wants them to and she helps me to have the right attitude to those who are not as I am. She has been a Titus 2 mentor to me and I just thought that I should mention it here. Visit her sometime, you will be blessed. Enjoy the weekend.

  1. Whoa Nelly...you IRON??? You're an amazing woman. I killed my iron in a fit of rage 5 years ago.. If something is wrinkled I throw it in the dryer for 5 minutes!
