It is 651am and my hubby just left to take his mom to the Health Center. From yesterday when he picked his parents up in the garden to take them home she was not feeling well. She was feverish and not feeling well at all. She took some Advil and my hubby monitored her. He came back home later to take some brew for her to drink. This morning she is feeling worse. If my mother in law consents to go to the Health Center and says she is feeling worse it's serious because she is not one to complain about her aches and pains and the way she feels. Please pray for her. Thanks in advance.
Update: It is 802am and my hubby went to check on his mom. When he brought her to the health centre they indicated that they were going to send her to town to the hospital. Among other things her heel is hurting her and they said that since she had clots in that leg before they need to monitor her. They put her on IV drips and they are sending the ambulance to pick her up and take her to the hospital. My hubby went to her home to pick up some things for her and then to go. Please pray dear sisters, please pray! Thanks again! I'll be at Vacation Bible School for the rest of the morning so I may only be able to give further update when I get home about 1:30pm. Just keep praying please. Thanks again!
Update: It is 255pm. I am back from VBS and my family is eating lunch right now. My hubby is still in town. When I spoke with him earlier he said that his mom was doing better. I don't know all the details yet as to what was diagnosed or recommended for her. I will let you all know as soon as I can. Thanks again for your prayers and keep on praying.
Update: It is 8:05pm. My mother in law is home. She is feeling better. They sent her home after the results from her blood work came in. The doctor said that the blood work did not reveal anything to be worried about. I still don't have all the details because my hubby had to go to the church to conduct the Baptism classes but thanks for your prayers. I believe that it was the prayers of the saints that caused that verdict to come from the doctor. I really appreciate all of you who left comments praying with us during this time. It really lifted my spirits to see you all praying with me. God richly multiply his blessings to you and your loved ones. Have a good night.

Praying here
ReplyDeleteHeavenly Father, be with the doctors as they minister to Jen's mother in law. Guide them to find the cause of her discomfort and help them to restore her to health. Be with the family as they wait and worry, give them comfort in Your power to do what's best. Thy will be done.
ReplyDeleteAmen
Praying for comfort, peace and His will in all things. Health to your mother-in-law, full recovery in Christ's name.
ReplyDeleteDear Jen, I am glad to hear your mother in law is feeling better. What a beautiful and much hoped for answer to your prayers. Take care, Kalianne.
ReplyDeleteI'm so sorry that I was gone all day Jenn and am just now reading your message you left at my blog, and now reading your most recent post.
ReplyDeletePraise and glory be to God!!!
I 'will' begin praying now for your MIL, that she continues on the road to full recovery and even better than before! :)
Please pray for us too. My husband goes in for an MRI tomorrow. His shoulder is giving him great pain. He is on heavy doses of pain meds in order to bear the pain. Rotator cuff? This has been going on for a week now. We are both dreading the thought of another surgery. Praying for this to be something else and easily treatable.
'Many blessings' for health for all of you as well as your MIL and a fabulous week with VBS!!! :)
Ravengal
