My mother in law was discharged from the hospital yesterday only to be readmitted again that same evening. When the doctors and nurses looked at the results of the ultrasound and blood tests done they said that what they suspected was not what was wrong and so they sent her home with pain killers. Of course that is not a satisfactory answer, so my sister in law Donna who was with her took her to a private doctor who instantly said that it was blood clots and sent her back to the hospital this time to a different ward. My mother in law has had a challenge with blood clots before and has had to stay in the hospital on complete bed rest because if the clots move it might prove fatal. So she's still in the hospital and they are giving her blood thinning medication to reduce the clotting. Please continue to pray for her. Now we know specifically what to pray for - for the blood clots to disappear and the root cause of the pain to be healed. A great big thank you to all who have been praying. It is greatly appreciated. As we get more news I will post updates. In the meantime we are on a rotation schedule to take her meals to her: my husband and I, her daughter Donna and her other daughter in law Francisca. I'm trying my best to not worry and give it all to God. Please pray for her children as well that during this time they will all lean heavily on Christ Jesus and that her one unsaved son Steve will surrender his heart to Jesus Christ. God bless you all and thanks for standing with us in prayer.

Knowing the cause of the problem is a great step. I do hope she and the doctors can work out this problem - God gave us such great possibilities. I will add her to the prayers of healing. The best to everyone.
ReplyDeleteI am glad that the doctors found what the problem was. Now we will pray specifically. Of course, I will be praying for the entire family also.
ReplyDeleteHugs,
Pam
I will be praying for a speedy and uneventful recovery for your mother-in-law and for you to manage your time wisely.
