Today's Bible Reading is 1 Thessalonians 1 - 3.
I would love it if you would add your insights and whatever the Lord ministers to you as you read the bible passage. You can do that in the comments section of this post. God speaks to us in so many ways and what you share here may just be the word that I or someone else who reads it needs for the day and situation.

Thank you for another bible study. I was really struck by 1 Thess 2:4-6. I think to often I am worried about sounding or looking stupid to others or being judged by them, rather than doing and saying what I know will bring glory to God. This was a good reminder for me. I'm thankful for finding you. It is easy to get caught up in photo carnivals and giveaways in the blogosphere, so it's nice to have a place that helps me re-center. Thanks.

ReplyDeleteThose verses indeed cause us to examine ourselves to see what our motives are. Are we doing what we're doing for praise from men or to please God.
Thanks for sharing your thoughts.
