This topic has been one of practice and interest to me for many years. I mentioned in a previous post about the Joseph Principle. We need to be working on the art of being prepared for the security and peace of mind of ourselves and our families.
Storms come in many forms. Storms can be illness, death of the major breadwinner, loss of job, hurricanes, earthquakes, divorce, and vehicle repair costing hundreds or thousands of dollars, unexpected home repairs that set us back financially. Storms are many and varied and affect us in different ways. Vehicle repair costing thousands of dollars may not affect one person but be devastating to another person and so on.I do not claim to be an expert in any of these topics. I am just sharing some things from my heart because I believe that worst times are ahead and by applying certain principles and developing certain habits, we will be better able to weather the storms and even be a blessing to those around us during and after those storms.
Let us take the scout motto and adopt it as our own: Be prepared!
