Below is a compilation of tips from Lori for the holiday season. Enjoy.
As Christmas approaches with the usual gatherings of family, take the time to pray for your husband's relationship with his extended family (both his family and yours).
If it is possible, as far as it depends on you, live at peace with everyone. Romans 12:18 NIV

Validate your husband's holiday traditions. Sing some carols, fix that "unique" cranberry relish that Grandma Ethel used to make, or go to the candlelight service. Do whatever is special to him and brings meaning to the Christmas holiday season for him.
... but love edifies (builds up). 1 Corinthians 8:1b NAS

Ask your husband if he needs help with any last minute shopping. He may need gifts for friends or coworkers. Even buying for family members can be tough. Be available to brain storm for ideas and do a little run around for him.
... put on a heart of ... kindness ... Colossians 3:12 NAS

Buy some holiday underwear/lingerie and put them on under your regular clothes. Then invite your husband to undress you for a little holiday fun.
I am my beloved's and his desire is toward me. Song of Songs 7:10a NAS

Something to do in a quiet post-holiday moment ~ ask your husband if there was a gift he was hoping for and didn't get. If so, buy the item and give it as a New Year's gift or as a "just because" gift.
I will honor Christmas in my heart, and try to keep it all the year. Charles Dickens
