Son: Mammy here's a fat(meaning flat) rock I got for you downstairs
Me: Really?
Son: Yes. Do you like it?
Me: Oh yes that's a nice rock. I like it.
Son(running outside): She said she likes it
This resulted in a parade of rocks from both of them asking if I liked them. The older one had to try to compete with the younger one. Well right away I put the boundary at one more each. At 4 & 5 yrs isn't this testosterone thing amazing. Trying to compete for Mammy's approval of rocks. Rocks!LOL! So here is a picture of my rock collection compliments of my two boys. Gifts for the mother. Thank you Lord.
Thank you for visiting my site. Your rock collection was lovely. My children are like that. It is so sweet that they are working so hard to please you. Perhaps you could make one of those lovely rock gardens in a small box. I am not sure how they work, but I think they put in some sand and they peacefully arrange the rocks. The rocks are pretty enough for sure.
ReplyDeleteThat's so sweet that your littlest one brought you a rock. I can just imagine the wonder in his voice when he told his brother that you liked it. And so very like boys to compete with the rock giving. Made me smile. :-)
ReplyDeleteThanks for visiting my blog the other day. Cheers!
