Rest day?

Monday is supposed to be our rest day. Well God had other plans. The Grace First Baptist Church Preschool had their service to begin Preschool Month activities. Preschool Month is something celebrated islandwide by all preschools. The theme for this year is "Celebrating Early Childhood - On The Journey Together. My hubby and I were asked to teach a seminar called the Art of Parenting to the parents of that school on the Monday evenings of June. The prinicipal also asked my hubby to share an exhortation at the service on Monday morning. So our Monday was not restful at all. Good, just not restful. Pictures from the morning service:

Only a few parents attended the service but two of them came forward and made professions of faith in Christ Jesus.

Then after the seminar the Ladies Ministry continued their anniversary activities and held a health talk about cervical cancer. Nurse Cuffy came and gave a wonderful presentation and did a great job of answering all our questions. Pictures from the health talk:




So our rest day ended late with no rest to speak of. A 15 minute nap is not what I would call a rest day. Anyway to God be the glory because it's all for Him. We will get rest on another day this week hopefully.
