Hands and toes - What a wonderful feeling!

My hubby gave me a voucher for a pedicure and manicure as part of my Mother's Day gift. He scheduled the apppointment for yesterday and I went and had them done. I feel so feminine. Don't they look good. I did feel good when the young lady doing my feet said that she had not seen feet like mine in a long time. She said that my feet are soft and have no hard, calloused skin to scrub off. Now that's interesting because I walk barefoot alot and wear alot of open shoes. What do you think? Do they look good or what?


I've never had a pedicure done before so this was a real treat. As for manicure, I've only had it done once before in St. Thomas when the owner of a nail salon downstairs where I worked asked me to come in for a complimentary one. My hubby is the one who from time to time does my toes and fingernails but because of our schedule it has been a while so this was really good for me. Praise God from whom all blessings flow.

The blessings really flowed yesterday because I got to spend the whole day out with hubby. My mother in law graciously accepted to keep the kids. My hubby and I had an appointment at about 10 in the morning to minister to a young lady and then my pamper appointment was set for 12noon. Then we had lunch that I carried from home, ran a few errands and went to Spanish class at 4pm. I enjoyed being with hubby all day. Thank you Lord for this time that we got to spend together. This may seem like small stuff to some but to me it is a big deal. We never know what life is going to bring our way so I make a big deal out of every seemingly little event in my life. So as I share my days with you all it is just my way of celebrating the little blessings in a big way. Thank you all for reading and commenting. That in itself is a blessing to me.
