Ceasing to grow denotes staleness and leads to boredom and in the bedroom this should not be. Lori as usual is on target.
Time for a few tough questions. How's your bedroom life? Has it improved overall over the last year? What could you do to make this a better year?
Now I know that you cannot control your spouse's behavior, but there are usually little things you can do that might make your bedroom life more enjoyable and intimate. And remember, you are not working for perfection, you are working for "better." Marriage (and sexuality) is a journey of a lifetime, not a quick sprint to a nearby finish line. Little changes over time effect great change. (Struggling in this area? Perhaps reading a book to help you sort out your feelings is in order.)
A good marriage is one which allows for change and growth in the individuals and in the way they express their love. Pearl S. Buck
