Today's tip is one that if we do not give attention to it will ruin our marriages. My husband and I have committed ourselves to keeping short accounts. Basically this means that when we feel hurt or slighted over anything we do not let it go for long periods before letting the other person know how we felt. It has worked to keep our marriage free from back up sewage.
Forgive your husband. Find a quiet spot and prayerfully look through your heart for any areas where you have hard feelings toward your husband. Ask God to help you forgive him. (Realize that forgiveness does not necessarily mean a rebuilding of trust or a settling of important issues, just that you have released him from any debt toward you.)
Bear with each other and forgive whatever grievances you may have against one another. Forgive as the Lord forgave you. Colossians 3:13 NIV
