How is your spiritual walk? Do you need more time for prayer, study or fellowship? Can you invite your husband to join you in spiritual pursuits? Do you need a prayer partner? When was the last time you read a book on some aspect of spiritual growth?

How is your bedroom life? Is your husband satisfied sexually? Are you satisfied? Do you need to make more time for sex? Do you need to seek counsel or prayer for emotional healing where it relates to sex? Do you need to talk with your husband about your bedroom life?

Are you a good friend to your husband? Are you the kind of friend that you would want to have? What kind of friend/companion does your husband need or want? Do you need to reprioritize (or cut back on) your responsibilities so that you have more time for your husband? What activities does your husband want you to share with him?

For sure, these are 'great' questions for us all. I am so grateful and your children, community and beyond are and will be 'so' blessed due to your commitment to your husband.
ReplyDeleteNo, Lew isn't ready for any yard work. Those pics were taken before the accident. Lew is only capable of standing, walking, riding in a car or driving. He is in extremely good physical shape which is helping him to heal faster, but he still has a long ways to go. He cannot do any upper body stuff yet.

Great post! We really should think of our relationship with our spouses as a friendship. A quarrelsome wife is awful for a husband to have. I am so grateful that we are able to be friends before everything else. BTW, thanks sooo much for praying for my family. You are such a blessing.
