Raw Food Recipe - Nut Pizza

This recipe is adapted from thegardendiet ebooks I purchased from the Taliferos. I made it with pine nuts on a day when my husband was eating only raw.  He loved it.  The boys loved it.  I loved it.  Need I say more.  Herbs, spices, nuts and toppings can all be changed to suit whatever you have on hand.  The one pictured below and in the recipe I'm giving I used walnuts.  I found the walnut taste a bit stronger than the pine nuts so in the future I will use either pine nuts or almonds. 

Nut Pizza

Crust
2 cups walnuts
olive oil
sea salt
garlic (finely grated)
onion (finely grated)

Toppings
tomatoes(sliced)
onions(sliced)
cucumbers (sliced)
bananas(sliced)
carrots (thinly sliced)
seasoning peppers(sliced)
garlic (grated)
olive oil
sea salt(optional)

Method
Grind nuts to powder.  Add oil, salt, herbs and seasonings of your choice.  Mix well and flatten on plate for crust.  Set aside.  In a bowl toss veggies with olive oil and a little sea salt(optional).  Add toppings to the crust that was set aside.  Enjoy.

    That's cool! You didn't even have to dehydrate the crust. This is something for me to try. :)
